Registration:


 


To register participants, you will have to use the online registration form on www.flandersjudocup.eu   


Registration fee: 10 euro per judoka


Deadline registering : 23/10/2011


 


Requirements:


 


1. General 


-        valid licence, acknowledged by EJU or IJF  (at weigh-in)


-        proof of identity (at weigh-in)


-        minimum 3rd kyu


 


2. Selection criteria judoka’s


-        medallist at Walloon Championship 2011


-        top 6 at Flemish Championship 2011


o                   U15: Top 6 Flemish Youth Ranking + 3 wild cards per region talent


                    training sessions


-        foreign competitors.


-        exceptional wildcards given by Vlaamse Judofederatie

U15   - born 1998, 1997


Boys  -34, -38, -42, -46, -50, -55, -60, -66 and +66 kg


Girls  -32, -36, -40, -44, -48, -52, -57, -63 and +63 kg


 


U17   - born  1996, 1995


Boys  -50, -55, -60, -66, -73, -81, -90 and +90kg


Girls  -40, -44, -48, -52, -57, -63, -70 and +70kg


 


U20   - born 1994, 1993,1992


Boys  -55, -60, -66, -73, -81, -90, -100 and +100kg


Girls  -44, -48, -52, -57, -63, -70, -78 and +78kg


 


Weight control:


 


Every judoka is obligated to weigh him/herself in the therefore foreseen area.


The result shown on the scale is binding.


 


System of competition: 


 


U15, U17, U20


 


First round pool system (minimum 3 fights) , followed by a single repechage tournament.


Golden score will be applied for all competitors when necessary.


-        more than one fight  guaranteed  in pool system.


-              1st round:      up to 40 competitors: 1st  and 2nd  of each pool qualifies for


                            the main table


                            41 competitors and more: and only 1st  of each pool qualifies


                            for the main table .


-              2nd round: single repechage with two bronze medal winners.


 


The sport code of the VJF will be applicable. In the spirit of the sport code, the organisation commission has the right to make adjustments when necessary.


 


Medical assistance:


 


During the tournament, an experienced physiotherapist and a first aid team (Belgian Red Cross) will be present.


 


Coaching:


 


For every 3 judoka´s in competition during the Flanders Judo Cup there will be one free coach card (accreditation by organisation commission) , this card will allow the coach to enter the competition area. Coaching has to be done properly (not disturbing competition or referees). Additional coach cards will be available (provided to pay 15 euro per card).


 


Prices/ Trophy’s:


 


Each weight class has a 1st, 2nd, and two 3rd places who receive a medal


 


 


Accidents/theft/ lost and found


 


The organisation is not responsible for accidents, lost objects of judoka’s/coaches or spectators.


 


Fights:


 


The competition starts at 9h30. The exact place (nr. tatami) and time of the fights will be announced on the day by a speaker and/or on digital screens. 


Entry:


10 euro for one day


15 euro for the weekend
